What Causes Extreme Pain In Stomach, Bloating And Lack Of Sexual Drive?

my boyfriend has severe stomach pain and bloating all over. He has a distended abdomen with bile in his stools. He sleeps all the time because he can barely eat, so he is malnourished. This came on suddenly, and every test comes back negative. No regimen of medication seems to help. He gets very cranky and irritable. He used to have a huge sex drive, now there is none for four months now. He sleeps all the time. He gets cranky and irritable and will not take advice. He is driving people away. I don t know how much more I can take. Please help!!!

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of extreme pain in stomach, bloating and lack of sexual drive. There can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like irritable bowel syndrome, some medications like antidepressants, eating a lot of dairy products, acidity and lack of fibres in diet. Condition like malnourished can also cause low sex derive , you can also consult endocrinologist for this problem. You should avoid intake of hot, sharp and spicy food substances. For now drink lot of water , do light exercises and avoid fatty and heavy meals. You should take diet rich in fibres and exercise daily and do not lie down immediately after having food. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order colonoscopy or other tests to look for blockages in your colon. You should get barium studies and blood test for hormonal changes. Doctor may prescribe you stool softeners or may refer you to urologist for UTI.
