Hello,

You have neck pain on both the sides of the neck & at the base of the skull during sex. You feel better when you stop and the erection goes away. Before sex, make sure that you are not dehydrated, your blood pressure and blood sugar levels are normal. Sometimes, high blood pressure and position of sex, orgasm may be the cause. Make sure that you are in comfortable position when doing intercourse.

However, you are advised to get clinically examined by a GP to detect cervical disc problems, mainly C5-C6, lymph nodes, any soft tissue injury including the muscles, tendons, and ligaments, degenerative arteritis, etc. Overuse of muscles can be a possibility, avoid sitting too many hours hunched over a computer or a smartphone.

Serious medical conditions that can cause such symptoms are MI(myocardial infarction) that causes a pressure, cramping or squeezing pain in your chest, but the pain can also spread to your neck. In medical emergency your pain may extend to your jaw, shoulder, back or arm.

You should get examined by a cardiologist. Get all required blood and imaging tests done like Echo, ECG, stress test, X-ray, lipid function tests, etc., done to detect any developing CAD, coronary artery disease. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
