What Causes Extreme Sciatica Pain In Back And Leg Despite Taking Painkillers?
My boyfriend in in the middle of a terrible siaticca attack with the pain in his lower left back and down his left leg. The doctor has him a Difene injection six hours ago and he s had four Tyler and two Diazepam in that time period. Should the pain be significantly less by now? It doesn t seem to be much better and he s stuck in bed unable to get up.

From history it seems that he might be having heavy strain and spasm of back muscle or might be having Acute PID ( prolapsed intervertebral disc ) producing severe backpain and sciatica.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Meanwhile give him analgesi with muscle relaxant medicine.
Only pain killer might not give much relief.
Ok and take care.
