What Causes Extreme Tiredness And Sleepiness?

A work colleague is tired and listless. she was not able to come into work because she was soooooo tired. she slept over the weekend and increased her liquid intake. her doctor said it is probably a virus. Is there anything like an epidemic going around

Well come to HCM
No this may not be viral infection but could be something else and her endocrine system need to be tested for diabetes, thyroid function, if there is no history of fever, headache, fatigue, then this may not be viral infection, hope this information helps, take care.
