Hi,I am Dr. Shivaprasad C (Endocrinologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I am a 34 year old female. 5'5'' and weigh 145. I have been so tired for so long. I work at 5 in the morning and I used to play it off because of that. I don't believe that is the case. I could sleep at any time of the day and if i could I would sleep the second I got home until I have to work the next day. I have a 5 year old, so that is not an option. I recently just started taking vitamins hoping that will work, but I think there is something more. What do you think could be the problem?
Hello, I had gone through your question and can understand your concern very well.
I would like to suggest you that you should undergo few blood work ups like CBC, Thyroid profile, calcium, vitamin B12 and D. You can come back to me after having all these reports anytime, so i can guide you in right direction.
Meanwhile, i would like to tell you that tiredness in females can occur most commonly due to anemia, so you should eat foods containing high iron levels like green leafy vegetables, jaggery, spinach, etc. Also take food rich in calcium and B12.
Hope this will help you and feel free to ask any of your further relevant queries, i will be happy to guide you in proper path.
