Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

It is normal for the eye to have excessive watering, redness and burning. After a week, even mild discomfort should disappear. In most cases, healing will take between 2 and 6 weeks.

If you think there is excessive discharge and pain Is severe, I suggest you to visit your doctor as soon as possible for the possible infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. SAMEEN BIN NAEEM
