Hi,

Irregular periods, acne and abnormal hair growth are typical of the polycystic ovarian syndrome.

This is a condition where cysts are present in the ovaries. It is associated with acne, irregular periods, hirsutism (abnormal hair growth). It can also be associated with infertility.

Weight loss of any excess weight and medications can help treat this condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James,
