What Causes Facial Redness Along With Difficulty In Breathing?

I chocked on a Dorito crisp two days ago at lunch time in school my face went red and had trouble breathing bit after while I began to be sick and feel very dizzy and my voice changed for about 20 minutes now it s 2 days after my thoart feels werid what shall I do I m scared

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of facial redness along with difficulty in breathing . Well the symptoms you mention in query occur due to many reasons like post nasal drip due to sinusitis , sore throat ( bacterial or viral ) , allergic reaction , acid reflux ,tonsillitis or tonsil stones . Severe sun burn can also cause such symptoms . As far as breathing difficulty is concern it is very important to seek medical attention. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order throat swab test, CT scan, nasal endoscopy and physical examination. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin or penicillin ), anti viral, decongestants, anti inflammatory and drug like sucralfate for healing of throat . For now do warm saline gargles and take anti histamine like benadryl .
