What Causes Facial Swelling And Ear Ache?

I live in PA, my physicians are all Geisinger Medical Center doctors. I ve seen every specialist and not one can explain my pain. My last visit was to rheumatology, still no answers. This ha been going on for a year now, facial swelling on right side, severe ear pain and drainage. I now have much pain in my right big toe and swelling above my left eyebrow. I will probably die with no diagnosis, but it pisses me off. I know my body, I m not a baby and have a high tolerance to pain. I m not crazy. If I m going to die that s part of life, why can t anyone put forth an effort to resolve this issue?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Problems in the jaw joint, raised uric acid levels, allergy and connective tissue disorders are all going through my mind.............I can appreciate your distress but one of your doctors at least needs to check you out from head to foot, order a few blood tests and be able to explain what's wrong!
A trial of antihistamine or steroid might help but I would not recommend it without doctor's advice.
