What Causes Facial Swelling And Jaw Pain After Being Bitten By A Bug?

My daughter got bit by a bug a couple inches under eye, last night she had slight swelling to the face and started complaining about jaw pain, I gave her 800mg of ibuprofen, do she need to be seen by MD. She staes the ibuprofen only helps a little with pain

Hello thank you for writing us here. the cause of allergy is due to allergy.
i would suggest you to take cetrizine for 7 days. her symptoms would go in 5 to 6 days. she would be alright there's nothing to be worried about.
