What Causes Facial Swelling, Mainly Lips And Tongue?

I get facial swelling, mainly lips and sometimes tongue. My bottom lip swelled about 10 hours ago. I took 3 extra strength Reactine pills. About 4 hors ago I took 2 more pills. My Allergist believes my body overloads on histamines. I have to go to work in 3 hours. I really don't want to use my Epi Pin. I am still swollen, though it has improved. I am obviously building an immunity to Reactine.Can I take another Reactine pill?Thanks, Brian
