What Causes Faint Popping Under Ribs While Breathing And Headaches?
i have a faint popping under my ribbs when i breathe, sometimes. not all the time. also get strange pains under my ribs on and off that feel like a ball under my rib. my bathroom patterns change alot. i get really bad tension head aches that start in my kneck and move up. any ideas whats going on will help.
The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to: 1. Gastrointestinal cause - due to accumulation of gas and excess acid formation in stomach secondary to stress. Symptomatic relief can be obtained with intake of Proton pump inhibitors like Pantoprazole, which prevent acid formation in stomach (to be taken before meals)+ antacid gel (to be taken after meals).
2. Spasm of the chest muscles- management will involve application of muscle relaxant gel & intake of analgesic (like Diclofenac) + Pantoprazole preparation.
However, an ECG can be done to rule out any Cardiovascular cause for the symptoms.
So, kindly consult your General Physician and start treatment as advised. There is no need to worry, you will be fine. Take care.
