What Causes Fainting And Discomfort In Chest?

My 20 year old daughter has been experience fainting & occassional discomfort in her chest. She went for blood, chest xray and ekg. Doc, said they found a delay on the ride side of her heart. I have an appointment with cardiologist. I am very very worried. Did I say I am worried!

I can understand your concern.
Delay on the right side of heart is seen in right bundle branch block (RBBB).
And it is seen in cardiomyopathy, arrhythmia, valvular heart diseases etc.
So you should definitely consult cardiologist for her and get done
1. Clinical examination of heart
2. 2d echo
3. Holter monitoring (24 hours continuous recording of ecg).
All these will be needed for the diagnosis of her cardiac disease.
Treatment based on diagnosis. So consult cardiologist and discuss all these.
