My 73 year old brother is having fainting episodes, heavy sweating at the time of fainting, some upper stomach discomfort / tightness. He has been in a serious auto accident about two months ago. Broke several ribs, and collapsed his lung. He recovered, but two weeks later had a fainting episode and vomited blood. He had a bleeding ulcer which was categorized. Before he could be dismissed from the hospital, he had an arterial blood vein rupture in his stomach. They closed that off and he received several units of blood and plasma during that hospitalization. Now, a couple of weeks later he fainted again, was sweating heavily and felt what he described as strange in his stomach.. he was taken to the hospital, they found some elevated enzymes in his blood that could indicate a heart attack. He was transferred to our University of Missouri hospital where they found nothing wrong and was dis.missed the next day. Now,, we do not know what to do.
