My husband had fainted twice with nausea following, This happened when he had been standing during song at church. He felt hot and sat down and seemed to be asleep, then his head dropped back and it was obvious he passed out. Nurses took his blood pressure and blood sugar. and helped him outside where they sat him down and he began vomiting. The first time they called an aid car and they in turn called an ambulance to take him to ER. As a result, we found a mutated gene which causes too many platelets and white cells and he is getting treatment for this, but they say it is unrelated. His Primary doctor doesn t think Amlopidine is causing it, but this was a medication he hadn t been taking long. It is working and we are afraid to let him stand long although he works outside and does fine. It is a worry. Any suggestions?
