What Causes Fainting Sensation And Headaches While Having Fluid In Ear?
Lately I have been very sensitive to loud noises and when i stand up for too long i feel unbalanced and as if i m going to faint or fall over. I have water trapped in my ear from a few months ago which im not sure is related. I have ongoing headaches and facial headaches. What should i do?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Accumulation of fluid in ear is suggestive of infection in the ear. If the treatment is incomplete the fluid can stay in the ear with clearance of infection. Insertion of grommet or a tube like structure is helpful in such cases to allow drainage of fluid. Te symptoms of sensitivity to loud noises, feeling imbalance, faintedness and headache are suggestive of involvement of inner ear. Thus, consult your ENT specialist for clinical assessment and treatment of condition at the earliest. Resolution of fluid in ear can resolve the above mentioned symptoms.
