What Causes Fainting Sensation, Nausea And Lightheadedness During Periods?
When I am on my period I get very light headed and feel like I am going to pass out. I feel nauseous and have extreme pain. Also have very heave heavy bleeding. I m only 18 years old but this has been happening for a while. Any suggestions on why this is happening?

I can understand your concern. Due to heavy bleeding most probably you would be aneamic. This would lead to feeling of lightheadedness and weakness. I would suggest an hemoglobin test done and iron and folic acid tablets taken for that.usually during the teenage years the periods are usually troublesome,if bleeding persists you might need hormonal therapy for that.
