What Causes Fainting Spells With Chest Tightness And Labored Breathing?

My son has been having periods of chest tightness, difficulty breathing, (despite normal O2 sats) then he stares off and passes out. Could that suggest a seizure? The doctors at the hospital don't know what's happening and we can't get an appointment with a neurologist for a while.
