What Causes Fainting While Suffering From Hypothyroidism?

My 18 year old daughter has hypothyroidism and recently today she has passed out twice. Her doctor is not at work today so I was wondering if its her thyroid or possible something else. she got real dizzy, light headed and she said her hearing got weird prior to passing out. Any ideas would be appreciated.
