Hi,

Neither Flonase or Hydroxycut should cause a false positive. If you are sure that you have not ingested any Amphetamines, I suggest that you insist on a confirmatory test being done, meaning sending the urine off to a gas chromatography test.

Urine tests are inherently difficult, and often produce false positives. Therefore it is ALWAYS advised that urine is sent to confirmatory test as soon as a positive test arises, if the drug-test taker cannot admit / remember any reason for it to be positive.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Maria Riechel-Sarup, General & Family Physician
