What Causes False Positive For Morphine In A Drug Test?
I just took a drug test, and it tested positive for morphine, and I have not touched morphine! I read online that my allergy medicine, Loratidine, can cause a false positive for morphine. Is this true? I swear I didn t take an morphine@?! But, I had just taken ny my Loratidine, which I am prescribed to, a couple of hours before. Please help, it s important!

Antihistamines in general can cause false positivity to methadone (which is an Opioid like morphine)
Positive test results to morphine can occur if you have eaten poppy seeds within 2 days of testing.
