What Causes False Positive For Hepatitis C In A Blood Test Report?
long time ago I had an infection of my gallbladder, I had all the systems, fever, yellowing of the eyes, dart urine, and discoloring of the skin. I was in the hospital for a week. they gave me medicine for it and I got better. I still have my gallbladder. the question is I have blood test done and it shows that I have Hepatic C but there is no counts and my liver is fine. could that be causing a false reading?

A positive hepatitis C result will come in case your body was in contact with hepatitis C and fought it successfully. The antibodies still persist making ELISA test to come positive.
