I'm a 51 year old female back in 2011 I broke my ankle and doing test it was discovered that I have the hormone that tell a woman she pregantin 2013 I had my hardware remove from my ankle and I still have this hormone why do I still carry this hormone that say I'm pregant but I'm not pregant and is there anything that can be done

Hello,

Falsely elevated beta-hCG is seen in conditions like fibroid uterus and ovarian cysts. You can do an ultrasound scan to rule out any such conditions.
