What Causes False Sound In My Ear

doctor sir I female -40 years facin g a problem with a sound since four month in my ear as my self conducted my uterus open surgery on 4/11/10. such this sound ( started generator set from far ) feeling after operation. please suggest me what is the problem with me

Hi,

Noted your history of open Hysterectomy and starting of sound in ear like started generator set from distance after surgery.
The likely causes are as follows:
Fluctuating blood pressure can initiate such problems.
Any inflammatory condition of hte inner or middle ear can cause tinnitus as we all this condition.
Medicines causing toxicity to the ear like Gentamycin or Amikacin.
Causes unrelated to to hysterectomy like tumor pressing on the nerve of ear.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, detailed history and correlation with the symptoms and signs.
Audiometry.
CT and MRI of the mastoids and brain to watch for any inflammatory changes, compression over nerves and o on.
Treatment will depend upon the cause found.
Control of anxiety, stress and blood pressure would help further.
