I am 71 and had RNY two years ago. I have familial tremors and had been taking propranolol, but it made my blood pressure too low. What else can I take. I am on an antidepressant, nerve med and sleeping pill. I have lost 125 lbs and weigh 185 and am 5 6 .

Hi

We can reduce the dose of Propranolol so that it doesn't cause low blood pressure because beta blockers are the best drugs to treat familial tremors . Otherwise there are some anticonvulsant which we can use but they have their own set of side effects.

Hope I have answered your query.
