What Causes Fast Heart Rate And Difficult Breathing?

4 weeks ago I had no problem training for a triathlon for 65 minutes at time. Today I could hardly go 20 minutes. I am 65 years old, increased my training, but notice my hard rate increasing faster and breathing more labored. I also noticed my nails are brittle. 3 weeks ago after working in the pastures, I removed 3 ticks one day, and 3 another. I still have red marks from 3 of the bites. Is there a relationship?

Hi,

Consult a cardiologist and get evaluated.

You have to go for a serial ECG monitoring and ECHO test to rule out heart related problems.
