What Causes Fast Heart Rate And Shortness Of Breath While Doing Manual Work?

When I am outdoors and doing some moderate, manual labor my face will get red, hot and sometimes itchy, my heart will beat fast, I have shortness of breath and my body gets uncomfortably hot. I have high blood pressure that is controlled by medication. We have a family history of heart problems, but several tests in the past has indicated that I have a very healthy heart. I do have some high cholesterol. I am about 70 pounds overweight. What is going on?

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that if you are hypertensive patient and having tachycardia then this is most advisable to go for cardiac evaluation to rule out the coronary artery disease, take care and have a nice day.
