Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m traveling for 7 weeks, away from my primary care physician. I m falling asleep after eating, exhausted. No, I m not eating sugar, I know first thought right? I am however eating specifically with my husband who IS a diabetic and matching our meals more than usual so it s a diet of almost no carbs. Not really different for me. I take 200mcg of synthroid with .5 of Cytomel and it s feeling off, like my dose needs to go up maybe. I sleep plenty, 8 hours, no sugar and no caffeine is normal for me. Now I simply nap mid-morning and again after lunch. Other thoughts beyond emailing him for TSH to be tested while I m away?
