What Causes Fatigue After Taking Oxycodone And Acetaminophen?

Hi, I just took a single dose of oxycodone acetaminophen 5-325, as prescribed for pain, but feel very very drowsy, and then I realized I may have taken my previous dose just four hours earlier, possibly sooner. I ve never taken a narcotic before and am nervous to fall asleep. Just feeling anxious. Wanting reassurance I haven t taken too much too soon

Hello,

I think you should not get over-anxious. If you feel drowsy, then, take your time to get better, get a nap if you need.

However, if this will impair your daily functioning and activities, then, should stop taking oxycodone.

Have more water to increase the speed of flushing oxycodone earlier form your body.

Again, nothing to worry, not too much dose. But, as you have not been used to this medication, and perhaps the pain was not that bad, so this pill got a lot of effect and succeeded to reduce the pain but with a bit of side effects. They will get better for sure. Just follow the advice as given above.
