What Causes Fatigue Along With Abdominal And Joint Pain?

I m very frustrated with my current doctor. I don t feel he listens. My symptoms include severe fatigue (no matter how much sleep I get), vague abdominal pain/fullness (diagnosed with benign uterine polyps a year ago), back and joint pain (some of the back pain due to surgery for a herniated disc, but still persistent 2+ months later. Some constipation, joint pain. Diagnosed with hypothyroidism a year ago but feel no different despite medication. I also have some anxiety, not all the time though.I am a 46 yr old nurse and not menopausal, my period is heavier than it used to be but regular. Basically, I m tired of being tired and don t want to just take another pill...

hello,
constipation and dysmenorrhoea symptoms may be due to hypothyroidism. please check ur free t3, t4 and tsh levels and start thyroxine according to results. back pain due to disc prolapse. consult orthopedic surgeon. u can go for physiotherapy. benign uterine polyp dont cause much problems. but followup is necessary for any change.
