Hello.
I have read your message.
I think I can inform you that these symptoms are expected.
Most likely, the symptoms are because of your habit of eating betel nut.
Now that you are stopping it, the body probably is trying to get more of it.
However, I suggest that you stick to it.
Meeting a de-addiction specialist might ease things.
However, your symptoms-chest pain, neck and jaw pain, anxiety and tiredness are also suggestive of cardiac causes.
I would suggest an EKG, Stress Echocardiography and a visit to a cardiologist as well.
Do let us know the reports.
Best of luck,
Dr Mittal
