What Causes Fatigue And Excess Sleep After Taking Low Dose Of Lyrica?

I just started on low dose lyrica. It makes me exhausted. I feel like a need a nap. This feeling resolves by midafternoon. Will this side effect go away once I am on it for a few weeks? I hate this feeling. My pain seems to be lessened since I have started taking it. However, the pain is worse at night. Could I take the full dose at bedtime instead of divided doses during the day?

The medication cannot be used as a single dose unfortunately, in some cases it is used twice instead of 3 times a day.
You can ask your doctor about this option.
