What Causes Fatigue And Headache While Suffering From Celiac Disease?
Hello, I have celiac disease and are now being tested for polythycemia. I have a family history of both. I am wondering if there is a connection between the two. My symptoms include extreme fatigue, headache and elevated hemoglobin and hematic crit. My doctor has prescribed additional testing and a sleep study. I am a physically fit 66 year old who is 119 pounds. The only medication I am on is a Prolia infusion this past month for osteoporocis. aMy email address is YYYY@YYYY Thank you
For your polycythemia underlying cause has to be searched. It can be primary or secondary polycythemia.
If you are having smoking history or prolonged dehydration history than it can be causative. I suggest you investigate with jak2 mutation testing and EPO testing for further work up. Kindly revert back with reports once done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
