Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Fatigue And Mood Swings Along With Swollen Lymph Nodes?
I have had swollen lymph nodes in my neck for roughly 2-3 months and one is now rock hard and doesn t seem to move when I touch it and I ve been experiencing fatigue and mood swings for about 1-2 weeks plz help.
Your situation has many differential diagnoses as non-specific lymphadenitis, tuberculosis, lymphomas, and others. Fatigue is associated with underlying inflammatory response of the body with possibility of altered blood parameters as hemoglobin, vitamin B complex, and trace elements level alterations. Require definite diagnosis for the lymph node enlargement (as it is almost 2 to 3 months interval) with physical examination and necessary evaluations in form of laboratory tests, fine needle aspiration cytology and/or excision biopsy of the same.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Purva Patel
