Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 27 white male. Fairly healthy, smoker, overweight by 15-20lbs. Fairly active lifestyle. Eat fairly healthy. Woke one morning with sudden fatigue to muscles of my entire body. Some discomfort but not painful. Muscle weakness to the point of not even being able to turn a door knob, or fastening my jeans. Sudden onset and after four days feel only slightly better. No other symptoms such as headache, fever, rash. No sinus problems or lymph nodes swollen. Only symptom is fatigued slightly uncomfortable muscles. So much fatigue cannot function normally.
Many reasons are there for sudden fatigue. Most common among them are anaemia, Vit B 12 deficiency etc.
Continuous work-related stress or depression due to the family issue may be the reason for sudden fatigue. You should check for any deficiency or any disease condition for a better outcome.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
