What Causes Fatigue And Nausea Along With Edema In The Lower Legs?
I have been diagnosed with multiple carcinoid tumors in my stomach. One biopsy came back malignant. the last EGD did not show any malignancies. But I am experiencing fatigue, nausea , I must watch my diet closely. (I am eating a very bland natural diet.) I have times when my bowels are very loose. I have edema in my lower legs at times. I am 72 and relatively healthy except for this. I do try to exercise to build my strength but I just get too tired. I am wondering if all these issues are due to the tumors or possibly other causes.
which blood inadequately moves up the veins from the legs and feet up to the heart. Normally, the veins keep blood flowing upward with one-way valves. When these valves become damaged or weakened, the blood leaks back down the vessels and fluid is retained in the soft tissue of the lower legs, especially the ankles and feet. Chronic venous insufficiency can lead to skin changes, skin ulcers, and infection. If you experience signs of venous insufficiency you should see your doctor. Regards
