I am 47 years old, female, having extreme fatigue and brain fog with bloating, tender breasts and lower back pain - my doctor keeps telling me my hormone levels are right on - I am on Mirena and have had it for 5 years - I am going to my gyn today but afraid he will say it s normal...what do I do?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You are approaching menopause age.
So hormonal changes are likely in your case.
These changes can cause symptoms like headache, bloating, backache, breast pain etc.
Menopausal women also show calcium and vitamin d 3 deficiency. And this can also cause headache and backache.
Hormonal changes need only reassurance and symptomatic treatment in the form of painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs. Warm water pad application on affected area is also beneficial. Take pantoprazole tablet on empty stomach for bloating.
Usually these symptoms subside in 1-2 years by its own.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
