What Causes Fatigue, Hair Loss And Sweating Despite Treatment For Hypothroidism?
Hello, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, but I am still having the symptoms even though I have been on the medication for a long time and the mgs was even increased. Would there be something else that would cause these symptoms? (Fatigue, swelling, feeling flushed, hot and cold sweats, dry skin, brittle nails, and hair loss).
Adequate treatment for hypothyrodism is essential.
The dose need to adjusted according your Thyroid profile particularly as per TSH. if youe TSH is raised then you have to increase your dose thyroxine/ eltroxine step-wise manner (increase of 25 mg in each step). The sympotoms appear you have not stabilised through your medicine (inadequate treatment). Do TSH if raised then increase the dose and do TSH after 3 month again.
