What Causes Fatigue, Irregular Bowel Movement And Chest Pain After Angioplasty?
My father is 76 yrs old last february he had angioplasty . After that he was ok litle fatigue ness was there. Last 1 week he is having irregular bowl movement with gas problem. He is feeling heavy in stomach and sometimes followed by chest pain. Please advice
I can understand your concern. Little chest pain is often felt due to stomach problems. Your father can do little life style changes like avoiding citrus fruits, tomatoes, onion, chilly and too fatty food. Ask him to have a gap of at least 2 hours between dinner and sleeping. In addition, regular exercise as his strength and health permits can help.
In addition, he can start with Digene (Aluminium hydroxide + Sodium carboxymethylcellulose + Magnesium hydroxide) syrup. He can take 10 ml (2 tablespoonfuls) two to four times day especially after meals and before bedtime.
If it does not get better, then he may need some other medicines for the problem after consultation with your physician.
I hope this helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish your father feels better soon!
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
