What Causes Fatigue, Light Headedness And Shortness Of Breath During Pregnancy?
Hello , Last year in 2014 I was Pregnant. Started To Feel like I wanted to faint , I would sweat get very light headed loose my energy and loss of breath . Sometimes my chest would hurt . The doctors did a Ekg and said I had long Qt Syndrome. I took meds for the last couple of months of my pregnancy and after I had my child . I didn t have any symptoms. Im know pregnant again and started to feel and have the same symptoms. Mt question is Why Do I Only Have These Symptoms When Im Pregnant?
As per my clinical experience, the most common cause of fatigue, light headache and short breath is iron deficiency anemia most likely. It is the raised demand of pregnancy period in form of iron for developing fetus, iron deficiency is most striking possibility. I would recommend you to take iron studies with your primary care physician to guide precisely.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
