What Causes Fatigue, Loss Of Appetite, Light Headedness And Nausea?

going through a third day of feeling very fatigued, no appetite, some light headedness with occasional nausea. had diarrhea (but not uncommon since my rectal cancer treatment a year ago) I am 70 and take 2 blood pressure medications and a cholesterol pill. Is this just a passing virus or should I check something else? I am on vacation. I am normally energetic, but EVERYTHING takes an effort to do... even talking on the phone.

Hello,

I need to know some details of your past illnesses as well. How is your blood pressure these days? How are your blood sugar levels?

I think this could be due to some viral infection that is passing by. If you do not recover within the next 2-3 days, I suggest you to visit your doctor for your detailed checkup and treatment if needed. Meanwhile, keep yourself hydrated.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
