What Causes Fatigue, Nausea And Weight Loss While Suffering From Polymyalgia Rheumatica?
my sister, was diagnosed with rheumatoid polymyalgia 5 years ago, now her sed rate is at 76, she have been complaining of fatigue, naueas, sudden weight loss, she is not eating because of nauseas. EGD normal mild gastritis. she is not feeling good at all, i m very concern?

Sudden and unexplained weight loss warrants investigations. Polymyalgia rheumatica may cause weight loss but it is important to rule out other causes as well.
A good thorough examination is needed and also possibly some blood tests such as TSH for the thyroid function and basic metabolic profile.
