What Causes Fatigue While On Eliquis?

My husband had the Whipple surgery in Dec 2016. He is very well healed as far as the operation is concerned; however he is always complaining of being tired. I must say that he was on Eliquis and then on Savaysa blood thinners because he has one stent to his earth. That caused him numerous bleeding problems where he had blood transfusions. He takes a B12 shot monthly. Any suggestions? Thank in advance.

Hi,

Yes, Eliquis may cause fatigue in 1-10% of the patients.

You may also check for other possibilities of fatigue like infection, anemia, electrolyte imbalance or viral fever etc.

Please consult your physician, he will examine and treat you with alternative medicine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
