What Causes Fatigue While On Lisinopril And Amlodipine?

Hi! I am 69-year old female on medication for blood pressure, Lisinopril and Amlodipine and Prevastatin for cholesterol control. I had a heart attack the 1st of 2016 and had 3-way bypass. Am regularly checked by cardiologist. I am so tired and sleepy I sometimes can hardly function. I ve had a sleep study which was OK. I fall asleep at the drop of a hat. HTN medicine has been adjusted and was taken off of Metoprolol for this reason. Blood pressure is stable. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello ma'am!
The drowsiness could be due to Amlodipine. Though sedation isn't exactly one of the adverse effects of Amlodipine but yes it MAY cause sedation in some people.
You could take Amlo in the night time instead of morning or say time.
Also, you could start a multivitamin supplement, as the fatigue could be due to gen. weakness.

Hope I helped! Take care ! (:
