What Causes Fatigue While On Verapamil?

I am taking Verapamil now for 6 months. I took 40mg/day for 5 months will no problem, except some minor tiredness. About 3 weeks ago, I raised the dose to 60mg/day, and 2 weeks ago I started itching like crazy. My main itching is in the buttocks, legs, elbows, back and abdominal area. Could the additonal 20mg/day have caused this ?

Hello,

Verapamil intake may cause dizziness, slow heartbeat, constipation, stomach upset, nausea, headache, or tiredness may occur.

So in a few patients, it may cause a serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

It is possible that an increased dose may aggravate the symptoms. So please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
