What Causes Fatigue While Suffering From Parkinson S Disease?
I have Parkinson s disease for approximately 20 years now. And I have been getting more and more tired over the past few months And over the past two years I have packed on approximately 40 lbs.So i sought out a weight specialist and asked him to run a thyroid test on me because I have a sister, brother and a first cousin with thyroid problems. So now I have gotten those results back and my Tsh is.09 So my question is their a correlations between the Parkinson s andthe thyroid????
In fact, there is no direct relationship between thyroid disease and Parkinson as such. However, thyroid problems are common in general population and hence may occur in patients with Parkinson irrespective of any relation between the two. It should be managed as in general population.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
