What Causes Fatigues And Light-headedness Associated With Persistent Nosebleeds?

My son has been prone to severe nosebleeds since he was a child. He is now 23 and he has them once a month. He had a couple over the weekend and he feels fatigued and lightheaded at times. I am taking him to the doctor on Wednesday. Any ideas what can cause these symptoms?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have fatigues and lightheadedness associated with persistent nosebleeds . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like, infection , trauma , allergic and non-allergic rhinitis , hypertension and use of blood thinning medications. But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to condition like sinusitis . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , X-ray , blood test and allergy test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin or penicillin ) along with decongestant and expectorant . Fow now take proper rest , take steam thrice a day and take bendry twice a day .
