What Causes Fatty And Enlarged Liver?
Hi doctor in ultrasound scan of Abdomen report my liver enlarged (16. 5cms) with increase in echotexture. Is there any problem and also in Impression Radiolagist write a note like this Hepatomegaly with fatty infiltration. Mild separation of bilateral renal pelvicalyceal system---? Clinical significance. Is there any problem please guide me Sir.

It could be an early sign of alcoholic liver disease. Stop alcohol intake. You can also go for a liver function test to assess the functional status of the liver.
