General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Transient feeling of blockage while listening to soft music for a long period of time is quite normal physiologic response to the sound waves by cochlear cells and hair cells. However, if this remains for a period of more than minute or so, one should get checked with an expert ENT specialist in terms of Weber and Rinne tests which identify the sound transmission through air and bone conduction pathway.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
