I keep getting the feeling of a bump in my chest or throat it wen away for about a couple of months the drs have said it anxiety my Dr gave me some diazepam and I think they worked so I only took them when jneeded them well its all started again and it scares me just like a second opinion please

Hi, If I were your treating Doctor for this case of such an irritating throat lump, I would come up with only one and one possibility that is globus hystericus!
Please take some ranitidine / metochlopramide combination preparation for one week and if still the symptom persists, consult a psychiatrist!
I suggest you to go for an endoscopy also to rule out any pathology in the food canal and to relieve your concerns!

Hello there, Yes , a state of anxiety does make you feel like having a lump in your throat. Also, this can be due to a lower level of iron in your blood .Kindly get a blood profile-HB RBCTIBC done. You can also consult a psychologist whibwould guide you in behaviour modification techniques that would help you relax and relieve your anxiety.
